The mission is simple: to break down complex Christian ideas in a way that is simple enough for your average person to not only understand, but also recall in conversations with those around them. If you want to develop the confidence to share your Christian faith with others and defend your beliefs against atheists without having to listen to hours-long deep dives on Christian theology, you are in the right place. I am Chris Chapanar, the creator of the Everyday Apologist channel. If this is the first you're hearing of me, welcome! I started my journey into content creation circa 2021, with a podcast and social media channel about my favorite hobby at the time - whiskey tastings and reviews. As I continued to grow that channel, a new "hobby" quickly overtook my free time: studying Christian theology and apologetics.

In the first half of 2026, I started to feel a strong calling. It was time to take all that I had learned about growing a social media channel and apply it to all that I had learned about the Christian faith. I wanted to make it simple for your average person who didn't want to listen to lectures, audiobooks, and scholarly debates. I wanted your average, Jesus-loving Christian to be confident in their ability to share the faith and defend it against common atheist "gotcha" arguments.

With that goal in mind, I have set out to make a channel that will do exactly that - all in a short, digestible video format.
